Keep training to become the best YOU, you can be. You are the product you're "selling" and the better you know yourself and what you're capable of, the more you can offer the production team of a show. Keep training in the styles of dance that you're least comfortable in, because you never know when you are going to get a call for an audition dancing hip/hop or ballet. Take classes with as many different teachers as possible. Get your name out- you never know who might be looking to cast a show.

A high schooler looking to pursue modern dance should try to audit dance classes at the college programs they are most interested in, and should decide what is more important to them: living in a city with a vibrant dance scene versus going to school at a "traditional, campus" college.
