A typical day varies. I usually start the day by checking emails from students; If I need to get a hold of someone right away, I make a mental note about it. Or, if a student is going through an unfortunate time, I do my best to find resources or make sure they're in contact with the health center or food banks. On top of that, I catch up on grading assignments and talking to students. I also work on stuff with committees such as the Health and Safety Emergency Preparedness Committee.
