Defining Moments

How I responded to discouragement

  • THE NOISE

    Messages from Myself:

You're too nice for the industry. You need to be smarter, more aware, and more pessimistic about some clients.

  • How I responded:

You always have to be aware of your surroundings, and sometimes people aren't the most honest or nice to you. Take everything with a grain of salt, learn from every experience, and don't let negatives weigh on your mind. Keep pushing forward.

  • Father and Stepfather passed away, with no life insurance. Was kicked out of house by tenants, and spent time borrowing money and doing odd jobs until I could get a job with a steady income. Mortgage crisis hit during all this.
