Defining Moments
How I responded to discouragement
THE NOISE
Messages from Myself:
You Shouldn't go to college its a waste of money.
How I responded:
I realized after taking some college classes that they were not a waste even if you don't use all the information that you learned from the class it may come in handy later on. Also it allows to enforce that even if you don't like something you still are cable of learning it.
Experiences and challenges that shaped me
My of my family said I shouldn't go to college. I over came this by realizing that you should do what you want and makes you happy. No one else walks in your shoes. Also family who do not go to college do not know what it is like.
