5.

Defining Moments
How I responded to discouragement
THE NOISE
Messages from Parents:
why did you get out of the AF..you had a safe job there and easy retirement
How I responded:
Sometimes safest and easiest is not the best route for everyone..It wasn't my dream to be in the military, I used it to pay for College. I can easily see myself in the military for 20 years and retire but I thought I need to do more for me now. Loved the military and wouldnt take back that experience for anything but it truly is a sacrifice that a few can make for their lives and their families. It wasn't my dream, I joined right out of HS..I knew nothing but that type of life.
