My path in life has been direct
1.
Started programming at home in QBASIC in high school.
2.
Majored in Computer Science at community college, learning C++ and Visual Basic.
3.
Join Military, and start volunteering for any computer related task that I can. Selected as an Information System Security Officer due to past performance and enthusiasm for computer security
4.
Apply to selective computer security assignments in the military, leading to more training & skills.
5.
Joined private sector as an security analyst, learning and teaching.
6.
Graduate from UMUC with a Master's degree in Cybersecurty, while volunteering for the competitive CyberPadawan CTF team.
