How I responded to discouragement
THE NOISE
Messages from Society in general:
You can't go to that college, it's too expensive for you; you can't be a counselor without teaching experience; you are too young to have the kind of experience we are looking for
How I responded:
Don't listen to them. You know what you are capable of and what you want to do with your life and the talents you'd like to share with the world. If you feel called to do something, don't let anyone else's opinion deter you.
