Defining Moments
How I responded to discouragement
THE NOISE
Messages from Society in general:
Insurance companies are sneaky, and no one likes them.
How I responded:
Get to know the business, but more importantly, the company. Do your research on a company prior to applying through word-of-mouth, internet and friends/family/co-workers. Not all insurance companies are created or managed equally.
Experiences and challenges that shaped me
Realizing I was running out of time and money for grad school, I decided to pull the plug, and head into the working world. I now look back and see it as a step in the right direction, not a failure. I believe everything happens for a reason.
