My path in life took a while to figure out
1.
I transferred schools from a community college to Tennessee Technological University where I found my strengths and did much better academically. I learned a lot at this institution.
2.
I got a job working as an after school care teacher. I taught homework help and computer skills. This help me build classroom management skills and strong bonds in my community.
3.
I graduated college (not with a high GPA).
4.
I started a job that I hated, but it taught my how to stick up for myself, new skills, and what kind of professional I wanted to be.
5.
I started graduate school as a professional school counselor.
6.
I started working at Goodwill Industries where I learned a lot about myself and my true passions.
