My path in life took a while to figure out
1.
Completed college with a degree in Floriculture.
2.
Got married and moved to small town. Put plans on hold. Took a part time job as a youth director. Discovered that I loved working with kids.
3.
Eventually opened a flower shop with 2 other people in the small town where I lived.
4.
Became pregnant and decided that a flower shop with 3 owners would not provide for a family. Went back to school to get a teaching certification in science to work with kids.
5.
Taught science to middle school students for 11 years. Moved to high school for 5 years then back to middle school.
6.
Used my love for floriculture/horticulture in science class but decided that I liked to help youth. Decided to return to college to obtain a masters degree in counseling.
7.
Currently attending Lamar College and teaching science at the middle school level.
