My path in life took a while to figure out

    Graduating high school and college, not knowing my major in college.

  • 2.

    I switched majors four times—I picked psychology because it was interesting and I didn't mind studying for psychology exams.

    I accepted my first job as a substance abuse counselor out of college and worked for three years.

  • 4.

    I realized I didn't like counseling or my current career path.

    I applied for a career in the criminal justice field and accepted a job as a probation officer.

    I've been with my current employer for almost 19 years and I've held several different positions.
