I help run our DMLM (Digital Melting Laser Machines) machines. We create a part that is built by combining a metal powder with the process of a laser melting that powder and adhering it to a stainless steel plate. Once that process is completed we remove the powder from the machine, revealing a group of parts that will go on to be used in the assembly of aircraft engines that carry people near and far!
